Faith schools - setting the agenda

2 Feb 2017

While you're at Spring Conference, why not catch the Conference Rally on the Friday and then come to our fringe meeting on Faith Schools, Faith Admissions and Liberal Democracy, organised jointly with the Liberal Democrat Education Association.

It will be your chance to hear all sides of the discussion, and share your views, before the formal debate on faith schools.

Panellists are:

Richy Thompson, Director of Public Affairs and Policy for the British Humanist Association;

Derek McAuley, Chief Officer of the Unitarian and Free Christian Churches;

Peter Taylor, Lib Dem Group Leader on Watford Council, and Education Adviser (England) for the Catholic Education Service;

Janet Grauberg, Chair of the Liberal Democrat Education Association, will be chairing the discussion.

It's on Friday, March 17, 8.15-9.30pm in the Novotel, Meeting Room 3, a five-minute walk from the York Barbican conference centre.

Come early to be sure of getting in.
