FEDERAL CONFERENCE, YORK, FRIDAY 7th to SUNDAY 9th MARCH

As always, we hope to see you at Conference this Spring. Let us tempt you with:

The Manifesto Debate: play a part in the process of building our party's 2015 manifesto; if there are any votes on humanist or secularist issues, we'll need your support.

The Equalities Consultative Discussion, Friday afternoon: religion-based discrimination is a key equalities issue in the UK - especially when it's sponsored by the state. If you care about it, this is your chance to say so.

Faith, Science and Politics: Stir and Stand Well Back? The HSLD Event, Saturday 1pm: come to our fringe meeting, featuring an all-scientist line-up with Dr. Julian Huppert MP FRSC MInstP, Ian Swales MP BSc (Chem Eng) and Cllr Sarah Boad CSci CEng FIMMM.

The HSLD stand: the usual chance to touch base with your committee - and to join, rejoin or renew (for just £10 a year) if you're not already paid up for 2013/14.

SCOTTISH CONFERENCE, ABERDEEN, FRIDAY 28th TO SUNDAY 30th MARCH

Our Scottish members are planning a first get-together at the Scottish Conference.

Our HSLD committee doesn't have a single Scotland-based member, which means we haven't a hope of covering Scottish issues properly. Don't get angry - get active!
