Federal election hustings

November 8, 2016 5:37 PM

Candidates in the upcoming elections for the party's various Federal bodies who are also HSLD members are being invited to make a short statement which will go out to all our members and supporters.

We are also inviting all candidates for the Party Presidency to make a statement.

We'll aim to publish the statements on this website on Monday November 21.

It will be up to the candidates how they approach this and whether they address issues of special relevance to humanists and secularists.

Statements will be limited to 250 words, and only one statement per candidate, even those standing for more than one committee.

If you're a candidate and an HSLD member and are unsure of your membership status, please contact the Chairman, Toby Keynes at toby.keynes@hsld.org.uk

The elections are for:

  • · Party President
  • · Federal Board
  • · Federal Conference Committee
  • · Federal Policy Committee
  • · Federal International Relations Committee
  • · Delegation to the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe (ALDE).
