LibDems invite party members to apply for Immigration and Identity Working Group

December 20, 2012 3:06 PM
By Toby Keynes

The Liberal Democrats' Federal Policy Committee is inviting party members to apply for the Policy Working Group on Immigration and Identity, and is encouraging members of Humanist & Secularist Liberal Democrats to apply.

The working group will produce a policy paper for the spring 2014 party Conference.

We believe that government policy should encourage members of ethnic and religious communities to see themselves as part of a much broader community, and we are very concerned about policies that have the opposite effect, so this is an area of great relevance to us and we encourage party members with an interest in the area to apply.
For an application form for these working groups please contact the Policy Unit on 020 7227 1243 or email adam.pritchard@libdems.org.uk

The deadline for applications is Monday 21st January 2013.
